Innovative Design Manufacturing (IDM) is located in the panhandle of Florida, approximately 30 miles east of Panama City and 90 miles southwest of Tallahassee on the Gulf of Mexico.
Our company enjoys the advantage of being a complete and self-contained Manufacturing Facility. Why is this an advantage? Because our customers are better served by a company, which can accommodate the requirements and specifications of our ever-changing industry (i.e.…Handicap accessible units, unique security features or customized options).
IDM is pleased to announce our newest addition to our 30,000 square foot air- conditioned facility, in April of 2003 IDM installed a 3,000 watt 42 ft, Cincinnati laser IDM also is fully equipped with robotic welding machines, punch presses, rolling machines and a team of talented and professional welders.
Our assembly area works off three lines. Our scheduling department plans the models and quantities to be built that week. Our lead-time is currently 7 to 10 working days for any standard unit. Custom units are built and scheduled according to urgency and parts availability.
The Electrical Assembly Department makes all the wiring harnesses, timer connections and quick connects which have been designed for our customer’s convenience and for easy maintenance. IDM has virtually eliminated the need to do any cutting, splicing and hard-wiring!
Shipping/Receiving and the Parts Department have their own Designated areas inside the building. These departments monitor all parts, pack, label and insure your prompt receipt and tracking of any equipment or parts.
Our Support Staff and the Sales Department are in a separate division. Sales people and staff have a substantial knowledge of our equipment and parts. Our customers will always be served with answers to any general or technical information they require. Our objective is to provide courteous, prompt and helpful information.
